Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, is on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Nanjing is know as the "green ancient capital and cultural city" thanks to its picutureque scenery consisting of the city walls, unique lanes and streets, gardens, green squares and exquisite lakes.

The mausoleum of Xiaoling located at the southern foot of the Zongshan Mountain. First build in 1376. It was the tomb of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming-Dynasty and his wife.
The confucius temple in Nanjing was originally construced in the year 1034 in the Song-Dynasty. It was a place to worship and consecrate confucius, the great philosopher and educator of ancient China.
The Gate of China (Zhongshuamen) was a ceremonial gateway in Nanjing. It was the southern gate, build under the Ming-Dynasty. Its the town's landmark.
